Getting Ready

I cannot even begin to describe the excitement I'm feeling right now. It seems so crazy to think that not even a year ago I read the congratulations email I thought I'd never receive, welcoming me into the Global Leadership Scholars program at UT. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been given this amazing opportunity.

 The summer came and went, and a great summer it was, but the Fall came quickly, and so began my adventure in GLS. The first day of class was awkward,  but by the time our first exams came around, the twenty-seven of my classmates and I were best friends. We can't get enough of each other, and have gotten to know each other so well in the last few months. We have all worked so, sooooooooo hard this Fall, and I think I speak for everyone when I say our classes were a wake-up call for the next three years. When Christmas break rolled around we were all so exhausted and ready to be finished, but looking back I am so proud of all of us. I can't imagine what the Spring semester will bring.

I know we are all missing each other, and anxiously awaiting January 10th when we reunite in London!!! Hope you enjoy reading this blog and keeping up with me this semester. I will miss you all and wish you the best this spring!
